A new gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a news europe today Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.
Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
